Northern Michigan-based Traverse Bay Farms continues expanding its consumer education and video library covering tart cherries, recipes, wellness in Northern Michigan

Bellaire, MI (PRUnderground) September 14th, 2026

Traverse Bay Farms, the Northern Michigan-based gourmet food and superfruit company founded in 2001, announced that its YouTube channel has surpassed 850,000 total views, marking another milestone in the company's growing digital education and video strategy.

The Traverse Bay Farms / Fruit Advantage YouTube channel features an expanding library of videos covering tart cherries, cherry juice concentrate, recipes, food pairing ideas, fruit education, wellness topics, company news and Northern Michigan.

The 850,000-view milestone follows continued investment by Traverse Bay Farms in creating helpful consumer content designed to answer common questions and make information about tart cherries and specialty foods easier to find and understand.

"Reaching more than 850,000 views is exciting, but what matters most to us is that people are actually finding and using the information," said Andy LaPointe, co-founder of Traverse Bay Farms. "Every video gives us another opportunity to answer a question, share something we've learned over the past 25 years or introduce someone to a new way to enjoy tart cherries and other foods."

From Product Videos to a Consumer Education Library

Traverse Bay Farms has steadily expanded its YouTube presence beyond traditional product-focused videos.

The channel now includes educational content addressing questions such as how tart cherry juice concentrate is made, how to use cherry concentrate in everyday recipes, cherry juice concentrate recipes, ways to enjoy dried cherries, food pairing ideas and information about Michigan's tart cherry industry.

Other videos feature recipes, Northern Michigan destinations, company milestones, behind-the-scenes stories and educational resources developed by Traverse Bay Farms.

That broad approach is part of the company's strategy to make its experience available in multiple formats -- including articles, videos, recipes, downloadable guides and interactive digital tools.

"We've learned that different people want information in different ways," LaPointe said. "Some people want to read an in-depth article. Others would rather watch a 30-second video or a five-minute explanation. Our goal is to make useful information available however someone prefers to learn."

Growing From 750,000 to More Than 850,000 Views

The latest milestone represents another step in the channel's continued growth.

Traverse Bay Farms announced in January 2026 that its YouTube channel had surpassed 750,000 views. The company has since added more than 100,000 additional views as its video library and publishing strategy have continued to expand.

In July 2026, Traverse Bay Farms also marked the publication of its 1,000th YouTube video, further establishing the channel as a substantial video resource developed by a specialty food brand.

The combination of more than 1,000 published videos and 850,000+ cumulative views reflects a long-term content strategy rather than a single viral campaign.

Building a Tart Cherry Knowledge Resource

Tart cherry education remains an important part of the Traverse Bay Farms YouTube channel.

Founded in Northern Michigan, one of America's best-known tart cherry-growing regions, Traverse Bay Farms has worked with tart cherry products since the company began in 2001.

The company's educational content includes information about Montmorency tart cherries, tart cherry juice concentrate, cherry capsules, dried tart cherries, cherry recipes, cherry juice recipes and ways to incorporate tart cherry products into everyday meals.

Traverse Bay Farms also publishes educational resources through its website, recipe library and consumer guides.

"Our experience gives us a lot of information to share," LaPointe said. "After 25 years, we've heard thousands of questions from customers. Those questions give us ideas for articles, videos and guides that can help the next person searching for the same answer."

Video as Part of a Broader Educational Strategy

The YouTube milestone comes as Traverse Bay Farms continues expanding its digital content strategy across search, video, social media and consumer education.

The company sees video as an increasingly important way for consumers to discover information, particularly as traditional search engines, social platforms and artificial intelligence systems increasingly surface video and multimedia content alongside written information.

Rather than treating video simply as advertising, Traverse Bay Farms is developing a searchable library of useful information based on questions consumers regularly ask about tart cherries, food, recipes and related topics.

"Twenty-five years ago, customers usually learned about us by walking into a store, seeing us at an event, visiting our booth at street fair or hearing about us from someone else," LaPointe said. "Today, someone may discover Traverse Bay Farms through a YouTube video, a recipe, an AI-generated answer or a search for a question about tart cherries. We want to be useful wherever that discovery happens."
