Free April 3 & 5 Performances in Downtown Brooklyn Featuring Live Music, Drama, and a Special Greeting from Pastor Jim Cymbala

The Brooklyn Tabernacle, a world-renowned church in downtown Brooklyn, will host its annual Easter production, The Story of Love, on April 3 and 5, 2026. This free event combines Broadway-level music, a biblically grounded narrative, and inspiring drama to deliver a powerful and hope-filled message of God’s love.
At the heart of the production is the story of Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, offering a message of hope, love, and redemption for people of all backgrounds. Guests are encouraged to bring family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy this unforgettable, moving event in the heart of Brooklyn.
Audiences can expect an extraordinary musical and dramatic performance that blends excellence with spiritual depth.
All seats are free, and early arrival is recommended, as the sanctuary fills quickly. Translation will be available in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Korean to welcome New York City’s diverse community.
Each presentation will include a brief pastoral greeting from Pastor Jim Cymbala, senior pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, adding a personal and meaningful moment to the event.
The Sunday, April 5, 12:00 p.m. presentation will be live streamed on the Brooklyn Tabernacle’s official YouTube channel.

The Brooklyn Tabernacle will also hold a regular Easter service on Sunday, April 5, at 9:00 a.m., with a special message by Pastor Jim Cymbala alongside worship with the seven-time Grammy Award–winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
The Story of Love and the Easter Sunday service will be held at 17 Smith Street, Brooklyn, conveniently located near the Jay Street–MetroTech subway station.
